OMAHA, Neb. - Following a loss at Tulsa (L, 0-2) and a tie at Drake (T, 0-0), the Creighton men's soccer team fell to No. 24 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
This marks the 30th consecutive week that Creighton has been ranked in the NSCAA top 25. The last time the Jays were not ranked was the preseason poll in 2010.
The Jays also dropped to fourth in the NSCAA Midwest Regional Rankings. Creighton is ranked No. 19 by College Soccer News, No. 21 by Soccer Times and No. 21 by TopDrawer Soccer. Soccer America dropped the Jays out of its ranking.
The Bluejays look to get back in the win column tonight as Creighton hosts Loyola-Chicago at 7 p.m. Later this week the Jays resume Missouri Valley Conference play by hosting SIUE on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m.
