NOTES: Ruf's pickoff in the top of the third marked the fourth time this season a Bluejay has been picked off on the base paths...Last season CU runners were picked off just six times the whole year...The loss gives Creighton its longest losing streak to start a season since 2002, when the team also went 0-4 to start the season...The loss also was the first four-game sweep Creighton has suffered since May 5-6, 2001 against Missouri State...It was the Bluejays second extra-inning game in its first four games...Last year it took CU 28 games before it played two extra inning games.
