Women's Tennis Falls to Drake, 7-0

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Creighton women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss at Drake on Friday, Feb. 21. The loss dropped the Bluejays to 2-5 on the season, while Drake moved to 4-1.

After dropping the doubles point, Creighton forced a third set tiebreaker in each of the top two singles positions as Jennie Hartjes took the second set from Klavdija Rebol 6-2 at the top spot, while Analese Snyder downed Mariel Ante 6-4 in the second set at No. 2 singles. Unfortunately neither Hartjes nor Snyder were able to complete the win, falling 10-8 and 10-3 respectively in the super tiebreaker.

Creighton remains in Des Moines on Saturday, Feb. 22 as the Bluejays battle Wisconsin in a neutral site match at 12 pm
