Creighton fans are invited to CenturyLink Center Omaha for an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 9, which will include a “New Conference, New Look” Creighton Athletics brand unveiling on the arena floor at 5:30 p.m.
Venue doors will open at 4:45 p.m., and fans will be able to see facility’s new scoreboard above center court, video boards and the renovated Lexus Club Lounge. Creighton men’s basketball upper bowl seats not yet sold as season tickets will be tagged and available for immediate purchase.
Creighton Director of Athletics Bruce Rasmussen and University President Rev. Timothy R. Lannon, S.J., will address the crowd briefly at 5:30 p.m., followed by a video presentation and the unveiling of the new First National Bank Court including Creighton’s new center-court logo.
Head coach Greg McDermott and the men’s basketball team will then run through some drills on the arena floor for about an hour to complete the event. Complimentary parking will be available for Creighton fans in Lot B (west of the arena) starting at 4:30 p.m.
Limited concessions will be open with food and drink available for purchase and complimentary commemorative posters will be available to those in attendance. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
