OMAHA, Neb. - The Creighton Women's Basketball team earned one vote in the Preseason AP Poll released on Saturday, Oct. 27.  The last time Creighton earned a vote in the AP Poll was March 10, 2003 as the Jays earned two votes that week.

Creighton last appeared in a national poll on Feb. 7, 2005, earning two votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Creighton has appeared in the AP Top-25 three times, the last coming at #21 in the Final Poll for the 1991-92 season.  The previous two times were at #23 on March 8, 1992 and #25 on March 1, 1992.  Those teams were coached by the current Creighton Athletic Director, Bruce Rasmussen.
