OMAHA, Neb. -- Coverage for the Creighton men's basketball team continues to grow as school officials on Friday announced two additional telecasts for the upcoming 2012-13 season. Road games at Indiana State (Feb. 6) and at Bradley (Feb. 27) have been picked up by KMTV and will air on KMTV-2, the station's Live Well Network.
KMTV will pick up Terre Haute’s WTWO-TV’s live telecast of the Creighton at Indiana State game on Wednesday, Feb. 6 (6 pm Central time tip-off) and air it live on KMTV-2, the station’s Live Well Network which is available in Omaha on Cox Communications channel 125.
In addition, KMTV will pick up Peoria’s WAOE-TV’s live telecast of the Creighton at Bradley game on Wednesday, Feb. 27 (7 pm tip-off) and air it live on KMTV-2, the station’s Live Well Network which is available in Omaha on Cox Communications channel 125.
The additions mean at least 27 Creighton games will be broadcast during the 2012-13 men's basketball campaign.
Earlier this month Creighton had previously announced that KMTV would be televising five games, FSN would air four games, NET Sports would air three games, COX 2 will air three games and ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN3.com would air nine more contests. In addition, Creighton's Dec. 15 game at California will air on the Pac-12 Network.
The Creighton men will play a Nov. 2 exhibition vs. University of Mary before opening the regular-season on Nov. 9 vs. North Texas.
