CREIGHTON CAREER: 2011 (Sophomore) – Started 24 games in right field, making her first start of the year on March 31 at Iowa State in Creighton’s 26th game ... In addition to her starting duties, she appeared as a pinch-runner 14 times, a defensive replacement twice and a pinch-hitter twice ... Went 2-for-2 as a pinch-hitter, with base hits against Wichita State (April 17) and Indiana State (April 30) ... Robbed two home runs on the season, taking one away from Bradley’s Jackie Roth on April 3 and denying Illinois State’s Jhavon Hamilton on May 7 ... Swiped her first career stolen base at Evansville (March 19) ... Went 2-for-3 with her first career home run against Bradley (April 2) in Creighton’s home-opener ... Went 6-for-17 (.353) in her first five starts, including a pair of two-hit games ... Smacked bases-loaded three-run double against North Dakota (April 12) ... Drove in two runs on her pinch-hit single at Indiana State (April 30) ... Was 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in CU’s win over Wichita State (May 12) in the MVC Tournament.

2010 (Freshman) –
 Appeared in 20 games, making five starts ... Started two games in both center and right field and made one start in left field ... Played in eight games as a pinch-runner and four as a pinch-hitter ... Made collegiate debut with pinch-hit at bat against Idaho State (March 6) ... Earned first career start against St. John’s (March 10), collecting her first career hit in the win ... Played in 10 MVC games, including starts against Indiana State (March 21) and Missouri State (April 2) ... Collected her first career RBI on a pinch-hit ground out at Wichita State (April 11) ... Pinch-ran and scored first run of the season against Kansas (April 15).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in softball, earning first-team Class A All-State honors as a junior … All-Nebraska (all class) second-team as both a sophomore and junior … Named all-district all four years, despite suffering a broken foot as a senior … Three-time all-conference honoree … Hit .375 in injury-shortened senior season, .348 as a junior and .358 as a sophomore … Batted .336 in her prep career … Three-year team captain on both high school and club teams … Valedictorian in class of 376 … Also earned letters in track and basketball.

  The daughter of Ana and Duane Perry, Emily was born on Dec. 27, 1990 in England … One of six children; Raymond (28), Rachel (27), Rebecca (24), Ryan (23) and Amy (19) … Exercise science major with a career ambition to become a physical therapist.
