OMAHA, Neb. - Eden Hingwing, Kyla Hoskins and Claire Zach were all named to ESPN The Magazine's CoSIDA Academic
All-District Seven Women's Soccer Second Team, it was recently announced.
Hingwing is one of four Jays to start all 19 matches this
season. Hingwing, a junior after redshirting to play with the Canadian U20
National Team last year, has five points on two goals and one assist, playing
primarily at defense. She is a psychology major.
Hoskins has also started every match for Creighton, and has
put up career highs in goals (4), assists (2) and points (10). She is fourth on
the team in points and tied for fourth in goals. She is a exercise science /
pre-med major.
Zach, a junior, has five points on the season with two goals
and an assist, while also starting all 19 matches. Her five points are two more
than her total from her first two seasons (1g/1a). She is a pre-med major.
Creighton had three of the four Valley selections to the
team, as Drake's Melissa Lewis was also named to the second team.
